New Tyre

New truck tyres are heavy-duty, unused tyres that have never been fitted on a vehicle. They play a vital role in your truck’s safety, handling, braking, and overall performance on the road. Choosing the right truck tyres in Auckland is essential for keeping your vehicle and drivers safe.

When buying new truck tyres, it’s important to consider your vehicle type, load capacity, road conditions, driving routes, and the correct tyre size and speed rating.

With new heavy-duty truck tyres, you’ll benefit from:

  • Stronger grip and traction for safer driving on highways and rough roads.

  • Better fuel efficiency and smoother long-distance performance.

  • Reduced road noise for more comfortable journeys.

  • Reliable handling and stability, even with heavy loads.

We stock leading truck tyre brands in New Zealand including Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Dunlop, Hankook, Pirelli, Yokohama, and Continental – ensuring you get trusted quality and durability for your fleet.

To maximise the life of your truck tyres, we recommend regular wheel alignment, tyre rotations, and inspections. This not only improves safety but also helps reduce operating costs and downtime for your trucks.

Choose our new truck tyres in Auckland for longer tyre life, reliable performance, and peace of mind on every journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Tyre Service Questions Answered

There are the following tyre service:

  1. Tyre inspection: A thorough visual inspection of your tyres, including checking the tread depth, sidewalls, and overall condition of the tyre.
  2. Tyre rotation: This involves moving the tyres from the rear to the front & vice versa to promote even tyre wear and extend the life of your tyres.
  3. Wheel balancing: This involves balancing the weight of the wheel and tyre assembly to ensure that it rotates smoothly and evenly, reducing vibrations and improving handling.
  4. Tyre repair: This involves removing a tyre from the wheel and Glueing a patch over the injury, for larger holes we use a Mushroom patch (Minicombi) fitted from the inside, this seals the hole, making the tyre as good as new, if a tyre cannot be repaired to a WOF standard, for safety reasons it is deemed unroadworthy and a new tyre must be fitted.

Wheel balancing is important because even a small amount of imbalance can cause vibration in the steering wheel or throughout the vehicle, which can be uncomfortable for the driver and passengers, and can also cause uneven tire wear. Over time, imbalanced tires can cause damage to the suspension and steering systems of a vehicle, which can be costly to repair.
