Truck Wheel Alignment

Truck wheel alignment is the process of adjusting the wheels and tyres of a truck to the correct manufacturer specifications, ensuring the vehicle runs straight, stable, and safe even under heavy loads. Proper truck wheel alignment is essential because trucks travel long distances, carry weight, and face much more road stress than normal vehicles.

When wheels are misaligned, you may notice the truck pulling to one side, uneven tyre wear, vibrations, or reduced handling comfort. Misalignment can occur from road impacts, uneven loading, suspension wear, or general wear over time. That’s why regular commercial truck alignment is highly recommended for reliability and performance.

Our expert technicians use advanced alignment technology to accurately measure and correct all wheel angles. We make sure your truck is aligned perfectly for better control, safer handling, and improved fuel efficiency on every trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Tyre Service Questions Answered

There are the following tyre service:

  1. Tyre inspection: A thorough visual inspection of your tyres, including checking the tread depth, sidewalls, and overall condition of the tyre.
  2. Tyre rotation: This involves moving the tyres from the rear to the front & vice versa to promote even tyre wear and extend the life of your tyres.
  3. Wheel balancing: This involves balancing the weight of the wheel and tyre assembly to ensure that it rotates smoothly and evenly, reducing vibrations and improving handling.
  4. Tyre repair: This involves removing a tyre from the wheel and Glueing a patch over the injury, for larger holes we use a Mushroom patch (Minicombi) fitted from the inside, this seals the hole, making the tyre as good as new, if a tyre cannot be repaired to a WOF standard, for safety reasons it is deemed unroadworthy and a new tyre must be fitted.

Wheel balancing is important because even a small amount of imbalance can cause vibration in the steering wheel or throughout the vehicle, which can be uncomfortable for the driver and passengers, and can also cause uneven tire wear. Over time, imbalanced tires can cause damage to the suspension and steering systems of a vehicle, which can be costly to repair.
